Mini airbag ECU reset — frequent questions
How much is a Mini airbag ECU reset in the UK?
Compatible Mini crash-data reset work starts from £95. The exact price depends on the ECU part number. You pay when the job is complete, not before you post the module.
Can a Mini airbag control module be reset after a crash?
Many Mini SRS ECUs can have crash data removed and the original module reused if the unit is physically sound and the part number is compatible. Deployed airbags themselves are replaced, not reset.
What do I need for a Mini airbag ECU quotation?
Send the ECU part number from the module label and the vehicle registration via the quotation page. No appointment is needed.
Is Mini airbag ECU reset a UK postal service?
Yes. You post the Mini module to Reset My Airbag in East Grinstead. Work is done on the bench and the unit is returned tracked across the UK. Tracked return is included.
What if my Mini part number is not in the list?
The table is a coverage guide. If your part number is not listed, still request a quotation with the part number and registration so we can confirm whether a reset is possible.
How long does a Mini airbag module reset take?
Typical bench turnaround is the same day or 24–48 hours once the module has arrived, plus postage each way.
